Enhancing institutional capacity of public authorities and stakeholders and efficient public administration.
Despite the availability of the EQF and ECVET European reference technical frameworks, which allow for the comparison of national qualification systems and provide for the portability of learning outcomes, thereby facilitating the dialogue between VET actors has not been sufficed to generate an increase in cross-border mobility among users undergoing training within the Program area.
The aim of the project was to strengthen cooperation between public education service providers and companies in the program area in work based learning using innovative approaches and uniform standards for the implementation of cross-border mobility. The project enabled educational institutions and SMEs in the program area to effectively connect and successfully participate in learning mobility projects and to jointly establish partnerships with actors from other areas.
The project offered the vocational education of the program area (framework) innovative tools to strengthen cooperation between schools and companies in work based learning (overall objective).
These topics were developed through the pursuit of specific goals:
• Common cross-border framework for work based learning
Signing the Protocol on cross-border cooperation between vocational education and training stakeholders
• Common solutions for key people in vocational and technical education
Developing and setting up a digital collaborative platform
• Strengthening collaborative capacity in key people
Bridging the knowledge gap to address common challenges
The CB_WBL project was successfully completed at the end of July 2019. Project activities began on 19/10/2017 with the convocation of the Steering Committee. In addition to the implementation of regular activities, including project management and coordination, among the most important activities (and effects) are: Cross-border workshops in Nova Gorica, Udine and Goriška Brda on "Development of collaborative capacities in vocational and professional education", Signing of the cross-border cooperation protocol between stakeholders of PSI Slovenia and Italy and for this purpose an organized a media conference, Cross-border courses in Nova Gorica, Udine and Zagraj.
To conclude, the project team launched a single tool, a digital platform called INPRAXI, which is the Latin term for the phrase "in practice". It thus enables students, as well as employers and mobility coordinators, to get in touch in a cross-border integration point of contact in the context of work-based learning. The INPRAXI platform, accessible through the domain www.inpraxi.info , represents the central tool for finding, publishing and coordinating student practices or work based learning. Try it out and connect, as new skills, a common denominator and the first step in connecting all stakeholders to such an important spectrum of VET programs.
In order to preserve and sustain the project results, the strategy envisages further organization of events, maintenance of the INPRAXI.INFO platform and, through the Permanent Cooperation Network formed by the signatories of the protocol, with annual possible enrichment and updating of project results.
The most important results achieved are:
The partnership managed to capture the most important key people and organisations in vocational education in the program area and ensured involvement in the activities of schools and companies. An important added value is the Permanent Cooperation Network made up by stakeholders who signed the “Protocol on cross-border cooperation between vocational education and training stakeholders in Slovenia and Italy”.
The project partners approved the sustainability strategy, which envisages, among other things, regular maintenance of the INPRAXI.INFO platform. A potential area for the transfer of good practices to other environments within the framework of Erasmus + strategic partnerships is the INPRAXI.INFO platform.
