The Interreg Italy-Slovenia programme at the "Communicating Interreg" seminar

News

On May 6, 2021, the Italian Agency for Territorial Cohesion held the "Communicating Interreg", which brought together around the European Territorial Cooperation (CTE) table about 200 online participants. The aim of the seminar was to deepen communication and disseminate the results and key issues in ETC projects.
Through focuses, tools, reports, and surveys carried out in the national context and in reference to the ETC, ENI, and IPA II programs, the Agency for Territorial Cohesion has shared useful data for the programs in view of the 2021-2027 programming period.
The good practices of the 2014-2020 programming period also had the opportunity to be explored during a session in which the Interreg Italy-Slovenia projects also brought their testimony. The ITI projects ISONZO-SOČA and SALUTE-ZDRAVSTVO, and the strategic CROSSMOBY project intervened under the "More Connected Europe" policy objective.
After the presentations, the debate began, at the beginning of which the Puglia Region manager Adriana Agrimi stated that "enhancing the synergies between ETC, Mainstreaming and Macro-regional strategies" passes precisely through the various possible communication activities. Ivano Magazzù of INTERACT Program also added that "the equation for a professional strategy passes from synergistic work and community spirit" during his speech on the merits of having a budget for effective and lasting technical assistance, training, and capacity building.
