AGRIFOOD MANAGEMENT & INNOVATION LAB AT CA’ FOSCARI UNIVERSITY (MERLINCV)

The Agrifood Management & Innovation Lab, the new multidisciplinary research laboratory of the Department of Management, arrives at Ca' Foscari University of Venice: its aim is to support companies in the sector in facing present and future challenges.

In particular, the activities of the Lab will focus on the themes of product, process and business strategy innovation, implementation of the innovations that come from the digital world, internationalization; the ability to offer consumers, deeply changed in demand and behaviour, engaging and multichannel shopping and consumption experiences will also be another central node.

Christine Mauracher, the director of the laboratory and professor of Agrifood management and marketing at the Department of Management, explains: “It will be an international and updated research, but guided by the imperative of providing concrete and useful tools and knowledge for the decisions of entrepreneurs, managers and operators in the agricultural and agro-industrial world”.

It will also have the purpose of developing surveys on different thematic focuses to encourage a better and more in-depth knowledge of such a strategic sector for the economy and to guarantee the search for homogeneous data, capable of providing comparison parameters for companies.
