The Roadmap aims to promote public transport links in cross-border areas, including measures and strategic proposals suggested by FORTIS stakeholders.
The timetable for the definition of the roadmap has been strongly influenced by the way in which the institutional dialogue developed within the thematic work table “Public cross-border road transport along the entire border area”, established after the start of the activities of FORTIS, therefore the roadmap is the basis for reaching a cross-border agreement for the definition of a Memorandum of Understanding for the promotion of public transport in cross-border areas.
