WASTE DESIGN - Establishment of a third underground ecological island in Postojna

As part of the Waste design project, whose leading partner is the Municipality of Postojna, which is implemented in partnership with Komunale Izola, Isontina Ambiente and IUAV Venezia, two underground ecological islands have already been established in the municipality of Postojna, namely at the location of Volaričeva ulica and Titove roads. This week, implementation work began for the third underground ecological island, which will be located on Kosovelova Street in Postojna (near Zeleni Biser or the roundabout that connects to Tržaška Street), at the location of the previous ecological island. In the next three weeks, three underground collection points (paper and cardboard, plastic and metal packaging, glass packaging) and above-ground containers for clothes and waste electronics will be established at the location.

During the works, the existing containers are removed, users are asked for their understanding.
