Once again this year, on the occasion of the European Week of Regions and Cities, the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Programme took a leading role by organising an online workshop to share the excellent results achieved by three projects that fostered innovation in their respective health systems through data sharing, in line with the EU's 2030 objectives to promote the digital transition in the public sector.
The session entitled “Cross-border pilot projects to boost innovation in the health system through data sharing” was held on Wednesday 12 October from 2.30 pm to 4 pm.
During the event, the CATTEDRA, C3B and ISE-EMH projects were presented, which have contributed to the collection and sharing of health data (biological samples) crucial for the advancement of medical research, the reduction of inequalities in access to health services, and the improvement of diagnosis and treatment of certain diseases.
The topics addressed during the presentation stimulated a dynamic and fruitful discussion between participants and speakers.
