As part of the conference entitled »Goal Vineyard« (pavilion 4), organized by the publishing house L'Informatore Agrario during the edition of Fieragricola in Verona, the Area Forum also hosted the workshop of prof. Paolo Sivilotti of the University of Udine investigated the theme of water and thermal stress in the vineyard and the phenomenon of grape withering caused more and more by climatic changes both at a thermal and radioactive level. The professor. Sivilotti presented some results of the Acquavitis project and of the field tests carried out during the two seasons in the Preccenicco and Spilimbergo vineyards (Italy – the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region) and underlined the importance of managing water and thermal stresses as an essential part of correct vineyard management.
The final results of the tests will be published at the end of August 2022 at the end of the Interreg Italy - Slovenia Acquavitis project.
