VIDEO CONTEST " THE NEW GREEN GENERATION: PROSPECTS FOR A SUSTAINABLE AND INCLUSIVE FUTURE" - send your videos until 1st May 2022!

The Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 is pleased to announce the launch of the video competition entitled "The new green generation: prospects for a sustainable and inclusive future".

The theme is inspired by the initiative of the European Union, which has proclaimed 2022 the European Year of Youth, with the aim of raising awareness among the citizens of the Programme area, especially the younger generation, on the issue of environmental protection by promoting innovative solutions and opportunities to build a better and greener future.

Participation in the competition is free of charge and open to all adults, professional and amateur videomakers.

The Programme therefore invites all interested young people to make video productions representing the territory included in the Programme area, developing the following themes:

• examples of sustainable actions/activities (means of transport, production of alternative energies, etc.) aimed at protecting the environment in order to be connected to it;
• young people and their key role in the development of local resources, understood as both cultural assets and natural resources; 
• the role of young people in developing of a sense of belonging and community the intergenerational sphere (building bridges between generations) and in the cross-border sphere (building bridges between nations) in order to represent common spaces for participation and community.

Two types of video productions are admitted to the competition:

• for the category “Social video”, videos with a maximum duration of 30 seconds;
• for the category “Green Generation”, videos with a minimum duration of 31 seconds and a maximum duration of 3 minutes.

First prize for the category "Green generation": an Amazon voucher worth 250 Euro!
