We present DIVA pilot projects – Recyclable LED, Superior Wood, SUSUCH

News

The next group of DIVA pilot projects we present has in common that they deal with "environmentally friendly" sustainable innovations.
The company LED Luks and the designer Bojan Ceglar set themselves the challenge of how to combine waste materials into a new, aesthetically attractive and functional product. The goal of the "Recyclable LED" project is to produce LED lights from recycled materials. The project represents a breakthrough in a new trend of living and the associated use of materials that directly follow environmental guidelines and are focused on the society of the future.
The idea of the "Superior Wood" project is to use alternative, solid wood products instead of plastic products in everyday use. Mainly home products: bathroom, kitchen, living room... Consumer products destined for the global market will be made exclusively from solid wood from locally grown tree species. The company Manibris inženiring and Jan Petrič, owner and creative director of the Svetlomodro studio, faced this challenge.
The challenge of the “SUSUCH” project is the design, development and introduction of sustainable packaging of concentrated juices, which will be based on sustainable principles. The goal of Nektar Natura and Wilsonic Design, which are collaborating in this project, is to reduce the negative impact on the environment, care for the health of consumers and use environmentally friendly materials.
