The Waste design project, of which the Municipality of Postojna is the leading partner, also established a third underground ecological island on Kosovelova ulica in Postojna (near Green Pearl or roundabout that crosses the Tržaško cesta). There are three underground collection points (paper and paperboard, plastic and metal packaging, glass packaging) and overhead containers for clothing and waste electronics.
