At the location of the ecological island along Titova cesta (near the cemetery), the existing garbage cans were removed today. The contractor, who will build a new ecological island with underground garbage cans in the next few weeks as part of the Waste design project, brought concrete elements to the site today.
Initially, construction work will be carried out at the location of the ecological island on Titova cesta in POSTOJNA (near the cemetery), where three underground ecological islands will be established for paper, plastic and glass. Furthermore, three underground ecological islands (paper, plastic and glass) will also be established on Volaričeva Street, where an additional platform for collecting oil, clothes and electronics will also be arranged.
We want the new underground ecological islands, which will be placed in the environment, to be used responsibly and carefully, and above all to take exemplary care of the appearance of the locations where we have ecological islands.
