SECAP: Two online workshops organized: “Renewable Communities: from planning to concreteness” on 28.20.2032 and "Policies and tools for planning climate adaptation" on 11.11.2021

Within the SECAP project, Autonomous Region Friuli Venezia Giulia organized two webinars.
The first one, “Renewable Communities: from planning to concreteness” was held on 28 th of October 2021. Nicolò Tudorov (Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region) presented how the FVG Region is committed in mitigation and adaptation to climate change, presenting the PROSPECT 2030 project «PROmoting regional Sustainable Policies on Energy and Climate change mitigation Towards 2030 »from the Interreg Central Europe program. Then, Eng. Abdin (Polytechnic of Turin) presented the legal and regulatory framework for energy communities. Eng. Francesco Locatelli (Energy Agency of Friuli Venezia Giulia - APE FVG) introduced the opportunities and benefits of renewable energy communities. Furthermore, the energy cooperative “È nostra” presented the role that citizens, businesses and territories have in the energy transition. Lastly, Energy Tech Service closed the webinar presenting the reality of energy communities in FVG: The second online workshop "Policies and tools for planning climate adaptation" took place on 11th of November 2021. Nicolò Tudorov (Friuli Venezia Giulia Autonomous Region) introduced the event with a presentation on the strategies adopted by the FVG Region for mitigation and adaptation to climate change. Next, Ferdinando Franceschelli (CREIAMO PA) presented climate policies from global to local level. Furthermore, Energy Agency of Friuli Venezia Giulia (APE FVG) presented the web platform "Climate Menu" which collects various adaptation actions aimed at helping local administrators to deal with the effects of climate change. CREIAMO PA closed the event presenting tools for planning, financing and governance of adaptation at local and larger scale.
