News

On 10 May 2019, a workshop was held at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, Ljubljana on the management of waste containing glass fibre reinforced polymers (GFRP). The workshop focused on how to identify GFRP materials and items containing GFRP as well as how to manage them once they are discarded. Participants were also presented with the catalogue of waste containing GFRP, prepared in the scope of the Retracking project, and the procedures for transboundary shipments of waste. The topics were presented by representatives of the Slovenian Retracking partner organisations, Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, and of the Slovenian public utility company JP VOKA SNAGA d.o.o. and the Inspectorate of the Republic of Slovenia for the Environment and Spatial Planning.
