At the beginning of August, The Foundation Walk of Peace in the cooperation with the Municipality of Kobarid, Kobarid Museum and the Soča Valley Development Centre have organized Peace Concert 2019 in Kobarid. The main message of the event was to share the importance of peace and to remember the fallen soldiers in World War I.
Slovenian band Katalena made a great performance and brought numerous locals and tourist on the Kobarid Square. The band sang many songs from their seventh album Man is Not a Beast, where lyrics of songs are inspired by military thematic, separation and tragedies. Locals, Rok Bratina and Matej Kavčič conclude the evening by sharing their view about peace and burdens of war.
The concert was supported by strategic project WALKofPEACE (Program Interreg V-A Italia-Slovenia 2014-2020).
