On October 17 th, 2019, the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 hosted for the second consecutive year a group of representatives from Latin America States and Regions, such as Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay, visiting the Italian-Slovenian border.
The meeting is part of an initiative launched by INNOVACT, a leading platform in Bruxelles in the field of cross-border cooperation.
The aim of the meeting was to exchange experiences on specific aspects related to cross-border cooperation, focusing on innovation.
During the meeting Latin American participants could receive more information concering Interreg programmes, and understand better the actions put in place by the European cross-border Regions in order to present them in the American context.
