On 23rd June 2022, COSEF inaugurated the pilot actions carried out in Porto Nogaro as part of the CLEAN BERTH (Interreg Italy-Slovenia) and SUSPORT (Interreg Italy-Croatia) projects, at a ceremony attended by the Mayor of the Municipality of San Giorgio di Nogaro (Ud) and the Port Network Authority of the Eastern Adriatic Sea, Lead Partner of both projects.
As part of CLEAN BERTH and SUSPORT, COSEF has made important investments that will have a major impact in terms of reducing CO2 emissions: the renovation of the office building in Porto Nogaro, including the installation of photovoltaic panels, the replacement of the port lighting system with LED technology, the purchase of an electric vehicle, and the study of the potential application of geothermal resources.
