Four project partners, the Municipality of Postojna, Komunala Izola, IUAV Venezia and Isontina Ambiente, met at the first partnership meeting organised in Postojna by the lead partner – Municipality Postojna. For year-and-a-half project will be aimed at using innovative green technologies to collect waste and promote recycling. As part of the project activities, the project partners will establish underground ecological islands, a reusable centre, smart bins, urban elements from recycled waste... At the same time, the project is also aimeing at raising public awareness of responsible waste management and, in particular, encouraging that waste can also be a quality product for further use.
At first meeting, the partners identified their roles, outlined planned project activities, exchanged experience and reached an agreement on further communication within the project.
