EDUKA2 project among stories published on Interreg Highlights blog

Interreg is there for all of us, sometimes in surprising ways!

With this slogan Interact has launched a campaign entitled #InterregAndMe, with the aim of letting people discover how Interreg projects have helped and changed people's lives. This campaign offers the opportunity to meet citizens from different parts of Europe who tell the world how their lives have improved thanks to cooperation.

Among the testimonies is one from the EDUKA2 project, co-financed by the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Programme. Telling her story is Vesna Vojvoda Gorjan, Italian language teacher at the Elvira Vatovec Prade primary school in Koper, Slovenia. Vesna explains how she helps her pupils study the Italian language by trying to make it as attractive as possible, "My biggest daily challenge is to get my students excited about the Italian language and culture," says Vesna.

The EDUKA2 project also developed an interactive online game to engage the youngest learners while attending lessons from home due to the health crisis caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. This new tool offered students the opportunity to explore their surroundings and the cross-border area.
