DuraSoft at IRG53 Conference
From 29 May to 2 June 2022 a representative of ISMAR team participated in the 53rd Conference of the International Research Group on Wood Protection (IRG53) (https://irg-wp.com/IRG53.html) which was held in Bled (Slovenia), organized by prof. Miha Humar of the University of Ljubljana, partner of the DuraSoft project.
In particular, on May 30, Dr. Davide Tagliapietra, coordinator of the Durasoft project, gave a keynote speach entitled "Protection of Venetian pilings from marine borers". The following day, Dr. Tihana Marčeta presented the results obtained from the ecotoxicological analyses carried out on differently treated wooden materials by displaying the poster "Evaluation of ecotoxicological effects of different coniferous wood treatments on two marine bioindicator species" authored by Tihana Marčeta, Nicoletta Nesto, Irene Guarneri, Davide Tagliapietra and Vanessa Moschino.
