Between 23 and 25 September Sobra, 8th International Fair of Defence, Protection, Security and Rescue, that takes place on a yearly basis in September was held. Among others, some Crossit Safer project partners participated in the event featuring Civil protection of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Fire Association of Slovenia and Fire-prevention and Rescue Service of Sežana. The representatives of the lead partner were visited at the stand by the Slovene defence minister, Mr Matej Tonin, to whom they presented an integrated regional system of Civil Protection and many activities, including international ones that are being carried out with the scope of constant improvement of disaster response. Fire Association of Slovenia took place in the event with the cooperation of Forestry High School of Postojna; the two institutions presented together a safe use of the chainsaw in extreme conditions using a mobile simulator of round wood tension. Fire-prevention and Rescue Service of Sežana presented a module showing all types of flood prevention.
