Employees of Vodovodi in kanalizacija d.d., together with students and mentors from the Nova Gorica School Center, developed and installed several meteorological stations, later they connected them to the data display and management system. Under the name of the work package »Development, Implementation and Maintenance of Meteorological Stations« we upgraded and established the current data capture and monitoring system at the SCADA Central Wastewater Treatment Plant Nova Gorica, which displays data with the status of weather stations (precipitation amount), ZBDV K, RVV G, RVV loaders K, RVV EF, RVV CD, RVV B, RVV RJ3 and RVV 8 and the containment basin and pumping station ZBDV Erjavčeva (amount of relieved water). Based on the received data, instructions are prepared on how to prepare the treatment plant for an increased flow of waste water (first precipitation wave).
In addition to setting up meteorological stations with the data capture application, we also performed the Extension of the CNS system for the management and containment of the first precipitation wave to Koren and linked the data to the weather station system.
The work carried out in this section represents an extension of the central control system that includes new data on the central control system of the user Vodovodi in kanalizacija d.d. Nova Gorica.
