Ustanova »Fundacija Poti miru v Posočju« in cooperation with the Municipality of Kanal ob Soči issued a brochure presenting the heritage of the First World War in the area of Kanal and its surroundings. The brochure was funded through the WALKofPEACE project.
In the brochure there is a map, which presents the renovated trail of the Walk of Peace from the Alps to the Adriatic in the area from the open-air museum on Kolovrat to Korada. The part of trail Walk of Peace from Korada to Plave, with which the Kanalski Kolovrat is connected to the Prižnica Memorial Park and the Vodice Open-air Museum, has been re-marked and drawn in a map of brochure.
Beside the map, which is prepared at a scale of 1: 35,000, the brochure with photographs and short descriptions presents some points of the Isonzo Front's heritage and other cultural heritage of the municipality Kanal ob Soči.
The promotional brochure, printed in Slovene, Italian and English language, is free of charge and is available to visitors at the TIC Kanal and other tourist information centers on the Walk of Peace, as well as at major providers.
