Project event: SECNET Kick off meeting

On Thursday, 12 October 2017, the kick off meeting of the standard project "SECNET - cross-border institutional cooperation for enhancing port security" co-financed by the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia programme, was held at the headquarters of the Port Authority in Trieste (Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Orientale – Porto di Trieste).

The SECNET standard project is led by the Trieste Port Authority with a total budget of approximately 1.3 million euros. The project will last 18 months. In addition to the Lead Partner, the following project partners are involved into the project implementation: Luka Koper d.d., the Port Authority of Venice (Autorità di Sistema Portuale del Mare Adriatico Settentrionale - Porti di Venezia e Chioggia), the University of Primorska, the University of Trieste and the Executive Secretariat of the Central European Initiative (CEI).
