Two events within a project “MobiTour – Sustainable mobility of tourist destinations of the coastal areas and hinterland of cross-border area” took place at the end of the year 2017.
The tea party with projects’ presentations and the press conference was hosted by the lead partner Javni zavod Park Škocjanske jame, Slovenija on December 7th 2017. The second event on December 15th 2017 was the first meeting of the Steering Group where technical and management activities, the Management Plan of the Steering Group, the Evaluation plan of the project and the baseline of sustainable urban mobility plans have been presented. The networking and sightseeing of the Škocjan caves have been held in the afternoon.
The MobiTour is financed in the framework of the Cross-border Cooperation Programme INTERREG V-A Italy-Slovenia 2014-2020. It aims to enhance actions, develop common cross-border solutions and pilot systems and upgrade services for sustainable mobility. Partners are: Javni zavod Park Škocjanske jame, Slovenija; Občina Piran, Kobilarna Lipica, Comune di Lignano Sabbiadoro, Istituto di Sociologia Internazionale di Gorizia, Comune di Caorle.
