On 23 November and 7 December at the Istituto Superiore Statale Gino Luzzatto in Portogruaro the workshop "Alla scoperta della friulanità nel Veneto Orientale" (Discovering Friulianness in Eastern Veneto) will take place, involving two classes of students.
Society is increasingly moving towards a technological revolution and tourism industry is one of the leading players in this innovative transition. Companies in the sector are fully involved in the digital revolution and it is therefore necessary for young people about to enter it as professionals to start thinking and designing products and services by using new languages and engaging different types of users.
In this framework, a FAB LAB is proposed within the PRIMIS project - Multicultural journey between Italy and Slovenia through the prism of minorities, financed by the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Programme. It is a training workshop for tourism-oriented secondary schools, with the aim of:
- making young people aware of the tangible and intangible heritage that characterises the Friulian culture in Veneto;
- challenging students with the creation or valorisation of tourism products in a 4.0 perspective.
The 4-hour per class workshop alternates between lectures and operational work, during which the participants will develop a project to promote the territory, focusing mainly on tangible and intangible elements of the Friulian culture that characterise it.
