Course of health measures in case of major accidents

On Thursday, April 22nd and on Saturday, April 24th 2021, in the premises of the Franc Uršič Barracks in Novo Mesto, a course of health measures in case of major accidents (abbreviation "MRMI Course") was held, which was attended by 45 health workers from Izola General Hospital, Jesenice General Hospital and Health at home Basic care Nova Gorica.

Participants gained basic theoretical knowledge of rescuing in major accidents and systematic practical experience in simulation exercises. Their participation was made possible by the funds of the cross-border project NEX AID of the Cooperative Program Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia 2014-2020.

Due to the covid-19 epidemic, the course was attended only by employees who had recovered from covid-19 disease in the last six months and / or had been vaccinated by SARS CoV-2 vaccine.

The course was led and conducted by certified instructors of the Slovenian Medical Association. We would like to thank the team of instructors for a professionally conducted course, and congratulate all the participants for successfully completed course!
