On Thursday 7 November the recreational area of Vrtojba will be inaugurated, realized within the European project Isonzo-Soča, funded by the Interreg Program V-A Italy-Slovenia 2014-2020.
The ribbon cutting will take place in the presence of EGTC GO chairman Matej Arčon, Šempeter-Vrtojba Mayor Milan Turk, Gorizia Mayor Rodolfo Ziberna and Nova Gorica Vice-Mayor Simon Rosič, at the recreation area (Opekarniška cesta 18, 5290 Šempeter pri Gorici).
This is the conclusion of the first of the four work lots of the Isonzo-Soča project, a project that involves the construction, in the territories of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter-Vrtojba, of a cross-border network of pedestrian and bicycle paths along the Isonzo river and along the border of state linking Salcano to Šempeter and Vrtojba.
