On October 17 th , 2019, at the Kajak Center di Salcano (Por na breg, 9), the tender contract will be signed between EGTC GO and the company that will carry out the construction works of the walkway of the Isonzo River, in the framework of the European Project Isonzo-Soča, financed by the Interreg Italy-Slovenia Programme.
The signature will be affixed in the presence of the mayors of the three founding municipalities of the European Grouping Territorial and the president EGTC GO.
The cycle-pedestrian walkway, which will connect the two shores of the Isonzo River, simbocally represents the overcoming of legal and administrative barriers between States. This is a particularly important moment for both EGTC GO, and all the entire cross-border area.
