at 9am - Good agricultural practices for conservation and improvement of
biodiversity and the environment'
An educational workshop aims at presentation of good agricultural
practices that help to preserve and improve the state of biodiversity
and the environment. The nature protection aspect and adaptation to
climate change on agricultural land in the area of the GREVISLIN project
will be highlighted. The GREVISLIN project addresses common territorial
challenges in the field of long-term cross-border strategic planning for
the development and protection of green infrastructure, long-term
monitoring of water status and habitat biodiversity (with emphasis on
the Soča river basin and lower Livenza, Vipava river basin), pilot
activities and investments infrastructures in the NATURA 2000 area and
raising the awareness of target groups on the importance of sustainable
water management, protected areas and forest and agricultural areas.
Good practices will be presented by agricultural consultants specialists
of the Institute of agriculture and forestry Nova Gorica in Slovenian
language.
