ENGREEN - Biology evening " THE IMPORTANCE OF WATER COLLECTIONS IN THE CARSIC SECTOR”

On Wednesday 24 February at 19.00 the 6th event will be held on the ZOOM platform as part of the "Biology evenings-Biološki večeri" of the Univerza na Primorskem-University of Primorska from Koper. The lectures are organized in the ambit of the project "ENGREEN - Strengthening of green infrastructures in IT-SI cross-border environment ", co-financed within the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020.

Gaia Fior of the voluntary association Tutors Ponds and Wetlands of the FVG will talk to us about the various types of water collections in the Karst area, their lack of maintenance since the aqueduct began to serve these areas, and the importance of these places for wildlife and for the reproduction of various species of amphibians.

The conferences are held in Slovenian and Italian, with simultaneous translation.
