"DIVAgazioni: thinking creatively to innovate in business" | Online workshop for ICC and SMEs in Friuli Venezia Giulia

Events

Friuli Innovazione, with the support of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region and the other scientific and technological parks in the area, has organized an online workshop to explore the theme of creative innovation, to offer testimonials and insights into the opportunities for the cultural and creative industries and facilitate the meeting and dialogue between the world of culture and that of business. Over 90 connected participants, including professionals and entrepreneurs interested in understanding how to innovate in business through creativity and culture, who were subsequently involved in a "deep dive" led by the mentors of Friuli Innovazione to study in a practical way topics such as Art and Design Thinking, Business Modeling, Pitching and Value Proposition Design.

There were many interventions that followed during the afternoon: to tie them, a common thread created by the conviction that one can, indeed must, draw on creativity to stimulate and accelerate innovation in the enterprise. Creative thinking is in fact a working method that allows to open up to new strategic approaches, respond promptly to the challenges of the context, create more competitive products and services, establish multidisciplinary synergies and improve relations with the local area, as demonstrated by the case studies presented by the speakers, selected from entrepreneurs, managers, innovators and creatives.

As Barbara Franchin, speaker of the workshop and passionate mind behind the international event ITS - International Talent Support, pointed out, the creative sector is an expanding one, which offers job opportunities that range in all areas - even far from purely cultural, artistic, or related to design and fashion ones - but in order to really exploit all these potentialities it is necessary to acquire precise working methods and equip people and projects with ad hoc tools that allow creativity to emerge: activities that, in Friuli Venezia Giulia, will be certainly facilitated by the opportunities offered by the DIVA project.

The workshop was also an opportunity to officially present the "Diva Hub FVG" and the nascent Culture and Creativity Cluster, which will have the task of promoting the regional ICC sector at national and international level.
