Interreg Italy-Slovenia and Interreg Italy Austria 2014/2020. Solutions for sustainable cross-border mobility: the contribution of the CROSSMOBY and BIKE NAT projects

Sustainable cross-border mobility is the subject of the discussion organized by the regional administration, as a joint final conference of the projects CROSSMOBY and BIKE NAT.

Co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund under the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia programe and the Interreg V-A Italy - Austria program, 2014-2020 programming, both initiatives have designed and tested new planning methods and new forms of sustainable mobility in the cross-border areas concerned, proposing a range of innovative solutions for the mobility of people, in the spirit of intermodality.

Three sessions are planned, with two round tables, which will allow the involved speakers both to present the concrete contributions made by the two initiatives, and to illustrate experiences and good practices implemented outside the two projects. The goal of the encounters is to emphasize the benefits, potentials and perspectives that different approaches to mobility can bring particularly in a cross-border context.

The event will be held in hybrid format (both in presence and online) with simultaneous translation of Italian, Slovenian and German languages.
