On a sunny and serene day the visit of the pilot plant of the project took place at Agroittica Friulana (Palse di Porcia, PN). 39 stakeholders arrived at the site with their own means or with an organized shuttle for the journey from Ljubljana to Porcia and back. They were representatives of the fish or agricultural production world, of research or control bodies, were industry experts or private citizens interested in investing in aquaponics.
After the ritual greetings and the description of the project by authorities and project managers, it was the moment of the buffet where visitors were also able to taste the trout produced on the farm. With technical experts of the project, 3 groups, including one Slovenian with interpreter, visited the RAS del pesce and the greenhouse for hydroponics and enjoyed the latest project videos made, while filling in ad hoc questionnaires.
