On 22 and 23 February 2023, the Educational Tour of the PRIMIS project took place, intended to promote the results achieved by the project and the cultural and tourist heritage of the area. The four multimedia centers established in Bibione, Santo Stefano di Cadore, Trieste and Capodistria/Koper were presented to a selected group of journalists and bloggers from the cultural and tourist sector. It was also an opportunity to get to know and meet the representatives of the minority linguistic communities of the territories.
On the first day, the participants visited the Multimedia Center at the Punta Tagliamento Lighthouse in Bibione dedicated to the Friulian world of Eastern Veneto. In the afternoon they headed towards Comelico where in Santo Stefano di Cadore they visited the CiCo – Multimedia information center of Comelico. For the occasion, the local community organized an event with music and folk dances.
On the second day, the delegation headed to Trieste, where they participated in a guide to the city center from a multicultural and multilingual point of view. The Slovenian community of Friuli Venezia Giulia welcomed journalists to the new STIK multimedia center at the Narodni Dom, an evocative space that presents the Slovenian world in Italy. In the afternoon, in Koper they were welcomed by the Italian Union which presented them with the splendid Gravisi-Buttorai building, headquarters of the Italian Multimedia Center, completely restored thanks to the PRIMIS project.
