From today the Newsletter n. 3 of ACQUAVITIS is available online, focusing on the analysis of water stress measured in vineyards on the Karst with irrigation experiments and the protocols adopted for proper monitoring of the water potential in the vine. The use of multispectral, hyperspectral and satellite imaging to monitor water stress in vineyards and isotopic analysis of precipitation, soils and xylem saps in the experimental Precenicco vineyard and the heatwave and water stress test performed in Sequals, in Friuli are also presented. The newsletter presents the activities carried out by the partners in the third and fourth project periods and examines some technologies and solutions for the protection and efficient use of water resources and for the planning of risks associated with extreme in the fight against climate change.
