As part of the Cattedra Project, after a series of intense work phases, a shared database has been created between the Istituto di Ricovero e Cura a Carattere Scientifico materno infantile Burlo Garofolo (the Burlo Garofolo Scientific Institute for Maternal and Child Care and Treatment) in Trieste, Italy and the University Medical Centre (Univerzitetni Klinični Center) in Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The partners aim to share knowledge, and work together to improve the therapeutic methodologies and diagnostic opportunities available for rare immune-mediated inflammatory diseases in children, such as juvenile idiopathic arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis, systemic lupus erythematosus, autoinflammatory diseases, and hereditary immunodeficiencies.
The database was created by Better d.o.o., a project partner and is ready to receive all the data collected so far by the project partners’ clinical centres.
