What are the various uveitises?
Uveitises are eye diseases due to an inflammatory process affecting the uvea and are a relatively frequent problem in children. Uveitis can be associated with other autoimmune diseases, such as Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis, or may be idiopathic.
The event, chaired by two experts in the field, took into consideration the diagnostic and therapeutic aspects to learn about (and recognize) uveitis in paediatric patients.
Our conference on 17th May was dedicated to paediatric uveitis. The programme may be consulted in the poster.
