On 28th of February (Rare disease day) the ImmunAID and the FMF & AID Global Association organized the webinar “Recognising Systemic Autoinflammatory Diseases (SAID)”
Educational webinar was dedicated to General practitioners and pediatricians to tackle the problem of undiagnosed, misdiagnosed and underdiagnosed Autoinflammatory Diseases.
ImmunAID SAID experts and FMF&AID Global Association organized an educational webinar on "Recognising Systemic Autoinflammatory Diseases". Its goal was to help general practitioners and pediatricians in their daily practice for early recognition of SAID.
Prof. Tadej Avčin was the first speaker at the webinar and presented an introduction to SAID and differences between autoinflammatory and autoimmune disorders. He presented experiences from the University Medical Center Ljubljana including the data on systemic autoinflammatory diseases that are collected in collaboration within the CATTEDRA project.
