From Saturday 30 October to Sunday 7 November, the gorgeous and spacious exhibition area of Salone degli Incanti (a former fish market) hosted important collectors who showcased their finest valuable antiques in the 37th edition of Trieste Antiqua. The event had to be cancelled in the previous two years due to COVID-19 pandemic situation, making visitors even more happy to be able to attend the event this year. Valuable pieces of antiques were put to display, such as paintings, tapestry, icons, gold and silver, photos, coin collections and antique prints, furniture, clocks, jewellery, and art from prestigious private collections. The enchanting setting was a perfect stage for performances of actors from Teatro Politeama Rossetti of Trieste.
MerlinCV project was presented at the stand of Aries, the event organizer, and managed to involve the visitors as well as the exhibitors in the project activities making them discover the treasures of the cultural heritage in the territory of the Slovene and Italian partners. The setting and the event offered an ideal chance to present the coming initiatives organized by Aries and MerlinCV project partners in order to reveal the vast choice of natural and cultural jewels of our territories.
