On 11 February 2022, an event organized by NANO-REGION will take place online: Nanotech meets business. The webinar will be held from 5.45pm to 7.00pm and will involve personalities from the business world and academia. It will be broadcast live on the project's YouTube channel.
Nano-Region is a project that aims to create a network of research centres and parks with a nano-technological vocation to offer companies access to enabling technologies and help create a new culture of innovation, through a programme of targeted open events, a consultancy service and feasibility studies, responding to the needs expressed by individual companies and stimulating the creation of new products.
The Nanotech Meets Business online event aims to introduce and explore the topic of nanotechnology, which apparently began in 1959, when physicist Richard Feyman (Nobel Prize winner for physics in 1965) uttered the famous phrase: "There is plenty of room at the bottom". This phrase is the initial point from which the understanding of the 'Nano' world began, a world invisible to non-experts, but which has the capacity to manifest itself through unique and revolutionary solutions, visible in everyday experience.
