In the context of the European Week of Regions and Cities, which will be held online from 11 to 14 October 2021, the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia 2014-2020 Programme will tackle the theme of environmental sustainability by organizing a workshop called "Sustainability beyond national boundaries: cross-border cooperation as a driver for change in biodiversity protection and sustainable mobility patterns", to be held on Tuesday 12th October from 11.30 AM to 1.00 PM.
The CROSSMOBY and FORTIS projects will share their experiences and how they have worked to improve cross-border connectivity through sustainable mobility initiatives. During the workshop the issue of biodiversity conservation for future generations will also be addressed with the presentation of innovative and inclusive approaches of other 5 different cross-border projects from different European areas.
