ACQUAVITIS - invitation to the webinar "HYDROLOGICAL CYCLE IN VITICULTURE"

On 05.05.2021, from 10.30 to 12.30, a webinar entitled "HYDROLOGICAL CYCLE IN VITICULTURE" will take place on the ZOOM platform, as a part of the two-year Interreg Italy – Slovenia project, "ACQUAVITIS - innovative solutions for efficient water use in cross-border viticulture".

The webinar, one of the project training activities and information events that involve producers, technicians, oenologists, researchers, media and students from the cross border territory, will be organized by Ca 'Foscari University in Venice and will focus on water resource analysis and stages of the hydrological cycle in the vineyard, based on the data collected during the first sampling season.

For the meeting with the media and the public, which will follow the technical presentations, journalists, such as Lorenzo Tosi from "VVQ vigne, vini & quality" and Emiliana Carotenuto from "Informatore Agrario, Vite & Vino", will help us to assist the final discussion between speakers and participants. The purpose, as explained to us by prof. Barbara Stenni, is "to establish a direct link between training and information by enabling the application of knowledge and the transfer of sciences. After the webinar, the second edition of our project newsletter will be published in digital and printed version and shared on the platform www.acquavitis.eu together with our video presentations, which were realised and subtitled in Slovenian or Italian, so that the contents of the webinar will be available to participants from all areas involved in the project.

Today, April 22, on World Earth Day, which is marked by climate action, we are also launching a promotional campaign for the online event, through the communication channels of the project (website, FB, Twitter and Instagram) and its partners.
