Univerza na Primorskem-The University of Primorska from Koper/Capodistria - Faculty of Mathematics, Natural Sciences and Information Technologies - is organizing extremely interesting scientific events entitled Biološki večeri/Biological Evenings for the tenth year in a row. A series of lectures will take place this year through the ZOOM platform. They aim to present to the general public the research in the field of biodiversity and nature conservation in general. This year's biological evenings will be held in the ambit of the project "ENGREEN - Strengthening of green infrastructures in IT-SI cross-border environment", which is co-financed by the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Cooperation Programme 2014-2020. Beside the University of Primorska, the Škocjan Caves Park Public Institution, Slovenia, the Municipality of San Dorligo della Valle-Dolina and GAL Venezia Orientale are also participating in the project. One of the most important goals of the project is to organize events to raise awareness of people about the importance of green infrastructure and the dangers to which it is exposed.
