ENGREEN – E-Bike trip along the green infrastructure

On Thursday, August 6, 2020, the Škocjan Caves Park, Slovenia (PŠJ) organized a trip with electric bicycles, during which participants learned about the green infrastructure in the Area of the park and learned more about the ENGREEN project, within which the trip was carried out and co-financed. They visited the second largest ice house in Europe, numerous ponds and dry stone walls characteristic of this landscape, which are also habitats of rare and protected species. A pleasant wandering through the above-ground beauties ended with a visit to the underground world of the Škocjan Caves.
