Interreg volunteer youth until August 2018

News

The youth volunteer initiative "Interreg volunteer youth (IVY)" promoted by the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR), was a great success and was therefore prolonged until August 2018. The IVY, at which also the Interreg V-A Italy-Slovenia Programme has joined,  is part of the broader European Solidarity Corps initiative launched by the European Commission in 2017. IVY offers young Europeans aged between 18 and 30 the opportunity to work as volunteers in the field of cross-border, transnational or inter-regional programs and related projects. The beneficiaries of the Interreg Program can host volunteers for a period of 2 to 6 months. Hosting a volunteer with IVY is easy, fast and free: just contact the Association of European Border Regions (AEBR) that will take care of all organizational and administrative arrangements as a point of contact for both host organizations and volunteers.
