[CANCELED] SUSGRAPE – SUStainable GRAPEvine – final event: presentation of achieved results

In compliance with the ordinance of the Ministry of Health in agreement with the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia "Urgent measures for the containment and management of the epidemiological emergency from COVID-2019", it was decided to cancel the final event of the SUSGRAPE project as a precautionary measure for the containment of Coronavirus.

The final event of project SUSGRAPE – SUStainable GRAPEvine, will take place on February 25, 2020 from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM within the premises of the Social Winery “Goriška Brda” in Dobrovo (Slovenia). By means of IoT technologies, the project aimed at promoting a more sustainable viticulture in Italy-Slovenia cross border area.

All winegrowers from programme area are invited, with a special focus on those coming from “Brda” region and Friuli Venezia Giulia.

In particular, the following aspects will be illustrated:

• the results obtained through the integration of agrometeorological monitoring technology (latest generation field sensors) with advanced phytosanitary forecasting models (DSS software adapted to microclimates and local varieties);
• “WiForAgri-SUSGRAPE” sensor and modeling technologies and all services connected with application examples and test possibilities;
• the evidence obtained through the microbiological analysis of vine leaves to contrast downy and powdery mildew.

The second part of the conference will be devoted to meet and directly speak with project partners in specific desks equipped with computers and demonstration banquets to "touch with hands":

• test demonstrating the WiForAgriSUSGRAPE services for viticulture 4.0 and smart-farming;
• small microbiology experiments related to the vine plant.

The entire event will be bilingual Italian/Slovenian with simultaneous interpretation service.
